Scribes take out a Rally at Tirupati

Tirupati, Feb 7: Hundreds of journalists took out a rally in the main streets of Tirupati City on Saturday afternoon protesting against the attack on Andhra Jyothi office under the banner of Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalists (APUWJ) Chittoor District Unit. They raised slogans against intolerant attitude of the youth congress activists against the press. They said it was a direct attack on the freedom of the press and they would fight back and defeat any attempt to muzzle their voice. Giridhar, President and Shanmugha Reddy, Secretary of Chittoor district unit of APUWJ led the rally.
