Hyderabad: The state council meetings of Andhra Pradesh Union Of Working Journalists (APUWJ) will be held on 3^rd & 4^th January 2009 in Dr B.R.Ambedkar Assembly Hall at Visakhapatnam. On this Occasion a seminar is being organized in Association with Press academy of A.P. and Andhra University, Journalism Department on Terrorism – New Challenges and Media.

Justice G.N.Ray Hon`ble Chairman, Press council of India will be inagurate the seminar and it will be presided over by Sri Devulapalli Amar, Chairman, press academy of A.P.

The executive committee of APUWJ will meet on 2^nd January 2009 at Vizag journalists forum (VJF) Press club, Dabha Garden, Vishakapatnam.

The state council meetings of APUWJ will inaguarated by Sri konatala Ramakrishna, Hon`ble minister for Commercial taxes , Government of Andhra Pradesh on 3^rd January 2009 at 3pm at Dr B.R.Ambedkar Assembly Hall , Andhra University, Vishakapatnam. The meetings will discuss on the present day scenario of print and electronic media, working conditions of journalists apart from passing a special resolution on the trends of news papers and news channels.

Sri Anam Ramnarayan Reddy, Hon`ble minister for information and tourism, Will attend as Chief guest in valedictory function to be held on 4<sup>th</sup> January2009. Sri Botsa satyanarayana Hon`ble minister for housing , Sri Kanna Laxminarayana, Hon`ble minister for Transport, Sri Suresh Prasad Akhouri, President, IJU, K.Srinivas Reddy Secretary- General, IJU, D.Amar, Chairman Press academy of A.P. and about 350 Delagates consisting of state council & national council members, President & secretaries of Dist Units of APUWJ will be attending the two days state council meetings.
